Thermal Integrity Profiler (TIP)

The Thermal Integrity Profi­ling methodology, or TIP, provides full information on the physical condition of the foundation.
Measuring the temperature with the access tubes in the pile’s barrel makes it possible to obtain a thermal profile of the pile itself for comparison with the design specifications, thus enabling detection of constructional anomalies.
In the same way, one can insert disposable sensors into the pile’s barrel, connected to the reinforcing cage and the acquisition unit, to obtain the same temperature-based information on the condition of the foundation.
