Chain testing kit

The “chain” element is widely used in restoration and maintenance, especially in heritage buildings. It is therefore important to be able to determine its functionality and strength, which may be affected by a variety of factors including corrosion and changing loads due to subsidence and movement of the structure. Determining the axial and traction load on the chain is thus a critical non-destructive testing requirement.
